From There, To Here
The most important factor to a healthy well-being is feeling connected. From There, To Here is a podcast that will infuse strength, positivity and a sense of community into your life. We discuss significant topics that explore our personal journeys From There, To Here, as well as feature insightful guests’ stories.
Meet Shannon
Shannon is an anxiety driven, overthinking, perfectionist who stresses over not b eing perfect. She is blessed to be a mom of three miracles. Her oldest is adopted out of the foster care system. After 11 dark years of infertility, she was surprised with a twin pregnancy. Shannon turned in her special education teacher hat to fulfill her dream career as a behavioral and educational consultant.
Meet Jess
Jess is a teacher at heart and a natural leader. Her goal is to leave sparkles of positivity wherever she goes. The practice of finding joy hasn't always been easy - from loving and leaving an addict, to finding self-love and new love, to navigating a nightmare of an adoption process - she is stronger for enduring challenges and is now living her own dream life. Much of her time is spent with her son, but her life wouldn’t be complete without also contributing to the field of education in various ways.

47. Guest Interview with Dr. Katy and Clarie: Nourish, a Therapeutic Space for New Mothers to Connect
For the first time ever, hosts are sharing the mic with 2 guests! Claire and Katy join hosts to tell listeners about “Nourish” - a program uniquely designed for new mothers of children newborn to 5 years old. Claire and Katy have a passion for helping and empowering women to thrive in mind, body, and spirit. This therapeutic sanctuary takes a holistic approach to wellness, it is described as a mental health haven for mothers to nourish, enhance, rediscover, and thrive during those first few years of motherhood. As mothers to toddlers, hosts know too well that motherhood can be a beautiful chapter - while it can also, simultaneously be, overwhelming! The goal of Nourish is to be a safe space that brings connection and a feeling of “me too” for its participants. Postpartum depression is one of the most common health concerns affecting new mothers worldwide. Postpartum anxiety is also very common, as well as adjustment needs, body image concerns, relationship strains, a feeling of social isolation, and sleep deprivation. After 6 weeks, participants will leave the program feeling empowered by this nurturing space and gain valuable insights, tools and confidence to navigate early motherhood with resilience. Listeners of this episode will hear how they can be a part of Nourish, and gain access to a SECRET DISCOUNT CODE (or if male, how to support a loved one to be a part of Nourish). New mothers might choose Nourish as a way to support their From There, To Here journey.
